 We had our final event of the year at VB SBN's new house. We discussed our year, where we are going in 2009, and each of the instructors spoke of their expectations for 2009. We also watch our annual Year in Review DVD made by Lisa SBN. Master Amsell also spoke of the Chinese characters on the AMK patch and E Pluribus Unum. Nathan and Elmier dressed very appropriately for the party by wearing Star Wars t-shirts. The party ended with a cake to celebrate Lisa SBN's birthday.

As Student of the Year, Nathan received a Student of the Year medal and his own shinai to carry around now so he can watch everyone and make sure they are paying attention.
